Monster Island, The Asylum's 2019 mockbuster that was released around the same time as Godzilla: King of the Monsters, is about an island called Monster Island where a monster may be discovered, who is sort of the island, the Monster Island, if you will.


It is an asylum film with a budget that would feed a lot of kids. The Asylum uses it well, focusing on just a few characters and keeping the big stars together in one set, where they can record all sequences during lunch. The Asylum may not be as bad as it (Monster Island by Decker Shado) seems considering this is the kaiju style.
